In the "Ludwick got signed" thread there I am on page
1 hoping for 25. That's what I've set my sights on all year. I thought he was never going to get to 25 till the last month or so, now I'm hoping for 30. What a year.

I must confess...I was completely and totally wrong about Ludwick. I thought he was done. Stick a fork in him done. Very happy to be wrong.

Although, I think part of my dislike of getting him was that he was tainted with Cardinal goo on him. I didn't know about his Cincy ties prior to acquiring him. Good example of why I'm not a GM. LOL.

Another thing that really irks me about Cubs fans is that they throw opposing HR balls back... but actually don't. The guy who caught Ludwick's reached down into a bag and threw back another ball he already brought. Completely lame.

can we look at Ludwick hitting 4th, moving BP up to 1, and Cozart down to 8 yet?
    Is it "next season" yet?

One helluva effort by Cozart there. Would've been an amazing play.

Gotta give the Cubs some credit. They're not rolling over when we take a lead. That's why I'd like more runs...

I dunno. That seems like a tall order with only 47 games left. Certainly possible but I don't expect it.

He is, however, knocking on the door of a .900 OPS. Who'da think that?
