Stubbs has come back to earth with a thud over the past week. His numbers-- .125/ .192/ .167/ .359-- really suck. Being fair, the last month has been his best of the season.

Every other pitch for Cueto is a fastball up out of the zone.

That's an amazing statement."

    Ridiculous play by BP

BPhil with a barehand pick and throw for the third out.

    I'd call it a day.

Great play by Phillips, but at some point in time he's going to get burned by going barehanded. He seems to do it sometimes when he doesn't NEED to do it.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

It's really tough when the bottom of the order sets the table and the top of the order leaves them stranded.

Most teams are dangerous when the bottom of the order gets on base and the top comes up with men on.
That has to be a no-brainer. And it would suddenly make the lineup look nothing short of fantastic.
