Would love to see an older version of Stubbs right here... The version that used to own the Cubs.

But it won't happen in this at bat.

Another called strike. Does Drew know the strike zone? Btw, watching the Cubs feeds brutal.

When Votto comes back, I'm convinced that Phillips should go back to leadoff with Ludwick hitting cleanup.

It's really tough when the bottom of the order sets the table and the top of the order leaves them stranded.

Most teams are dangerous when the bottom of the order gets on base and the top comes up with men on.

Gotta move Cozart - Stubbs off the 1-2 spot. I'd rather see Cairo-Hanigan at this rate.

    Re: 8-12-12 @ Chi Town

If this stays a 3 run lead in to the 9th and Cueto can't make it, I'd like to see Chapman get the day off. Anybody in this pen, even Ondrusek, should be able to protect a 3 run lead against lineup. No need to burn Chapman out.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Not too good to walk Soriano.
