    Batting Practice

    Hi all,

I got tickets for tonights game and was told that I could buy batting practice tickets (where you can see the Reds BP by getting there extra early).

I was just wondering if anyone has done this before. Do the Reds sign autographs and shake hands or is it not worth it?

    Thanks.

    2013 Attendance: 6-0 (4/3, 4/16, 4/17, 8/3, 8/21, 9/7)

You have to buy a separate ticket to watch batting practice? I have never heard of that before.

To watch the Reds BP. Sorry for not clarifying.

It was $15, but that includes admission to the Reds HOF which I wanted to see anyways.

That's not bad. Reds' HOF is supposed to be pretty nice.

Yeah I have been there before, but I had to rush through it to get to a dentist appointment. I am hoping to enjoy it more this time.

    The 4256 exhibit is awesome!

i always thought the HOF was free with a game ticket. And never knew you had to pay to see reds batting practice.

I havent watched batting practice in probably 10+ years and never been to the HOF tho.

I don't know about 10 years ago, but every baseball I have been to, I try to get there early like 5:30ish for a 7:00 game. Usually, you get there and see the other team's BP up to 6:30ish.

I have never seen the Reds BP, so I was wondering if anyone else has. I think they let season ticket holders go in early enough to see them.

That $15 dollar ticket lets you get inside at 430 before all the season ticket holders. You have to stay in right field until all the gates open it is a good deal because you are almost guaranteed to get a ball and autograph.

A HOF ticket is $10 even if you already have a game ticket. This is the first I've ever heard of the $15 ticket to see batting practice and the HOF, though.

They only allow you to stay in RF?

Yes, you buy the ticket and you get in 30 minutes before season ticket holders. Great for kids looking for autographs and a chance to catch a ball. Very few take advantage of it!

How many people do they let buy BP tickets? Says tickets are limited but doesn't give a number.
