Real problem is that Lecure and Broxton have been hurt. Neither has pitched in a long while.

    Nice job by Jose.

Hadn't heard anything about that. What kind of injuries, and when did they happen?

Ideal tomorrow would be 8 by Johnny in game 1 with the door slammer by Chapman and the rest of the staff for game 2

Both have the dreaded "sore shoulder".

I read that Lecure was pronounced ready.

Haven't read anything about Broxton's status except he was experiencing whatever.

I always thought that LeCure was an arm injury waiting to happen. As for Brox, wonder if we got damaged goods?

I don;t think so - remember he's just off arm surgery

I'm with Grande and Brantley; BP could use a day off.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

They said he's pitched more often here as setup and may be a bit tender - not as often used in KC as closer

LeCure is an injury that DOES happen every year. In the minors and the majors, he tends to miss some time every year.

This time, it sounds like he dodged the bullet and is ready.

As for Brox, he looked good his first couple times out for the Reds, then looked bad. Don't know what his story is.

Ludwick just misses #24, and gets thrown out at 2nd.

Ludwick hits it off the wall, Soriano throws him out at second. Still 7-3 Reds.
