Brantley thought it was, and George agreed with him. Considering how "golly gosh" George can be, I think we all took him for his word.

Travis Wood had a reputation for being low-key and poised as a Red.

Don't take this too seriously but it always seems like some of Woods pictures on MLB.com and the like show a man projecting himself to be tougher than he really is. Again, that's just my first impression when I see some of his pictures.

Not as many as in previous years, but it's only Friday. Better judge will be tomorrow's DB and Sunday's day game.

Thanks. I did see they were thinking it was intentional, I just wasn't sure if there's a backstory that anyone is aware of as to why they thought that.

Double, second and third for Brox. Another lefty coming up. Price coming out.

If Brox gives up one more hit, he's got to come out.

    Agreed.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Another K for Brox. Let's get the next guy.

Clevenger lines the first pitch down the left field line for a double, Valbuena to 3rd.
Adrian Cardenas (pinch hitting for Bowden) Ks swinging on a 96 mph fastabll.
DeJesus zings one up the middle, Broxton snares it, out at 1st.

Broxton takes up a lot of space in the middle of the diamond.
