Not sure what Todd was saying, but he made the ump laugh.

    3 walks already by Redmond
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

He's pitching scared. He had nothing to lose and just go out and throw but he could not do that. Too bad.

I would gladly take 5 IP out of Redmond, but don't see it happening

He has had pretty darn good control in the minors, so this is surprising. Has to be a little bit of nerves for him.

I'd be pretty mad if that were a called strike 3 on a Red.

Look Redmond, this is the Cubs. They'll get themselves out if you let them.

It was a strike per CSN and per gameday.

Redmond living on the edge and surviving.
