I haven't seen much of this game, but LeCure apparently didn't look too good either.

I don't think anybody will argue with this. However, I think if Logan is our weakest link, that's a DAMNED good thing.

In what way is Ondrusek superior to Hoover?

    Hoover could have done that.

True. But I think Ondrusek is weaker. 30/23 K/BB is just not getting it done. Glad they got Broxton for that reason (although he's hit a rough patch too).

LeCure is still getting healthy, but with Ondrusek it's a pattern.

3-2 count and he grooved it. Just like pitch before at 3-1.

Why does he have to be "superior?"

He's got a heck of a lot more experience than Hoover. If/when the Reds feel Hoover is a better option, I'm sure they'll use him. Maybe he's better, maybe he's not. But Hoover doesn't have much of a track record to know one way or another.

This may have been discussed earlier, but I feel like one of the biggest blunders of the game was when they held Frazier at 3B when he could've had easily made it home. Not sure if that was Berry or Frazier's call. Now, Mesoraco wasn't much better because he couldn't get the run in with 1 out, but still. That run would've tied the game into the 9th. Ondrusek probably doesn't come in with that scenario.

Come on Homer. Don't be so dense. Ondrusek has two whole extra letters in his last name. He's also considerably taller. His ears also stop much more of the wind blowing in from center. There's simply no comparison. Sheesh!

Valdez needs to be bunting, or not swinging.

Shouldn't that have been a ball on that "balk" by Marmol?

The majors are a lot different than the minors. It can get a lot worse than what Logan has provided in his career.
