I think that's a good idea for spring of next year. Perhaps his value is better as a starter with that breaker.

    time to go to Camp
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I don't know but it does make me wonder if you couldn't put a starting rotation together from the Reds BP that would be better then what some other teams throw out there.

Sounds like it could be a decent starting 5.

lol! Five years ago, you'd be talking about the rotation the Reds threw out there!
Opinions are like belly buttons. Everybody has one, and they don't want someone else's shoved into their face.

    so close.

At the very least, I applaud the Reds for making a run of it here.

I was thinking Stubbs might want to bunt in that spot, Cubs a good bet to mess it up.

Oh well, still the ninth inning with maybe a pinch hitter, Phillips, Ludwick.
