Bruce with an actual rally killer pop up, not a euphemism for a HR.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

How can Cubs fans continue their optimistic support for their team? Years upon years without any sustained hints of being any good.

I get that...I was just there last Sat to watch a game. Just don't understand rabid fan interest, even to away games when you have not won in years and won't for several more years to come.

Wasted opportunities there. 2nd and 3rd with 1 out and they get no more runs.

Mesoraco just isn't as good as many thought he was. Lack of PT or not, the guy just isn't a good hitter.

He still could be. However he is a great lesson in why you don't go all in on rookie when you are playing for something.

Hamilton just singled for Pensacola, for those interested. With two stolen bases, he can tie Vince Coleman this inning.

So much for that. First pitch groundout by Fellhauer. Inning over.
