But we are letting them stay in this game...we should have blown them out with
0-9, over 8.00 ERA Volstad pitching this game.

Go back and time it...from missed swing to the time the catcher retrieved it and it touched the first baseman's mitt was 5.1 seconds. Phillips takes 4.1 to first full go. Hamilton gets to 1st in 3.64.

I was done with this but if you post stupid stuff like that I will not let it go.

Jaime Garcia back with a vengeance in his first start since being on the DL. 7Ks and 0 runs allowed in his first four innings.

Yes, maybe we should have....but their defense sucks and bullpen stinks too....we are better and we got this.

Astros have a new manager but the same old Double A players. They trail 4 zip to the Snakes.

We need to give Phillips and Stubbs some time off. Phillips looks gassed and Stubbs is hitting below .180 in his last 10 games

Why not let X Paul bat second and sit Stubbs down?

Dusty will keep everyone fresh in Sept. Phillips wants to play every day and there is only one reason I call him Drew Gehrig.

Stubbs is the CF. They really can't win unless he plays and the Reds simply have no one to play in his place.

The Pirates are swinging the bats like they have 8 Wilson Valdez's in there this series, but that might be giving Pittsburgh too much credit.
