    Roberto Petagine sighting
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Reds up 4-1 in the fifth. 52 pitches for Latos heading into the inning.

Brett Jackson leads off. Two balls then foul. Inside ball three.

Then strike two and strike three. K looking.

Ump finally giving Latos the strike calls in the zone.

Latos dominates the bottom of the Cubs order for a 1-2-3 frame

Volstad at 71 pitches to start the bottom of the fifth. Phillips the batter.

Falls behind 1-2. Fouls. Phillips struggling a bit of late. TV crew says Cubs pitching him effectively.

Phillips Ks swinging, ball gets by catcher, Brandon jogs, Catcher throws him out.

I don't think Phillips could've hit that slider with an oar. That thing hit the dirt about a foot off the plate.

Rooting for the Pirates in that one. Cards still worry me.

Unrelated to anything, Aaron Boone's Twitter profile pic is pretty cool
