lecure, arredondo, ondrusek all are not good. This isnt as deep as a bullpen as its made out to be

I guess the good news is a lotta times team back up games like this with a 4 hit 1 run performance.

We've been winning ugly lately. A lot of errors and mistakes.

Frazier is the king of making ugly swings look good.

right, cant do that against the more talented teams and expect any success. All i can say is thank god the Reds played alot of the harder teams in the first half of the season or else they could be in a little trouble

I've always liked LeCure as the long man. He's ideal for that role...starters mentality, good control, crafty, etc....not the stuff for the rotation, but good enough. Ondrusek is a hot mess. Arredondo is scaring the bejesus out of me lately. We need Hoover back up here, Masset to get healthy and Broxton to stop stinking.

Tonight is a loss; they happen in baseball. But I just feel like we left food on the table tonight. We got to the ace of a team who just happens to own us, and we're still going to lose. Very frustrating.

It just feels like no matter what we throw the Phillies they'll hit it hard. Leake wasn't good at all but they were still hitting his good pitches. Ah well, I'm used to losing to these guys.

This is on Dusty for having Ludwick/Frazier/Stubbs all out of the lineup

I have a problem with Cozart swinging at a 2-0 pitch there, when a team is down by 5.

The Reds have been very fortunate all year missing ace pitchers and catching teams without their top players due to injuries

.....this is the opposite, terrible time to play the Phillies

Yeah Stubbs would definitely be doing more than Heisey. Stubbs pretty much gets 3 hits every game.
