If you take out the hits in any game, the pitcher is throwing a no hitter.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I read that Votto really regretted missing this series.

I regret that Votto is missing this series.

    One out for Leake.

If Leake hadn't give up any hits he'd have a no hitter too.

    3-2 Phillies. Should be 3-3.

It gets worse - take out all of our hits all season, and we've been no hit by everyone all year.

I'd be thrilled with a traditional quality start of 6 innings, 3 runs by Leake. I wasn't expecting him to shut down the Phillies.

At least there's a pattern to Leake tonight.

    Out, out, long homer, out.

Is Votto with the club on this small roadie? Any word on any timetable to have him back? Been out a month it seems already.
