now lets root for a pirates loss.
now lets root for a pirates loss.
Utley should have bailed out on that.
Could have earned another phantom HBP.
Has anyone ever seen Aroldis Chapman and Jimi Hendrix in the same place? Think about it- Big tall lanky lefthanders, totally cool, and.......PURPLE HAZE!!!!
Stars of the game? Don't leave us in suspense.
Really a team victory but:
3. Chapman for his 30th save and I dont like Utely.
2. Frazier - How many hometowns does he have. They treat him like a hometowner in both NY and Philly.
And the #1 star- the rookie Cozart. As big a hit as we've had all year.
Nice gutsy performance by Homer too. Really proud of these guys.
Hanigan with a clutch hit. Homer came up big. A veritable constellation of choices. Stubbs with a clutch hit in the 7th. Rolen's leadoff double in the 7th.
A definite "veritable constellation".
Mulling it over, I like Rolen's double. Reds just blew a bases-loaded, no-outs opportunity in the 6th. That was deflating, to me anyway. First batter in the 7th laces a gapper. A resilient bunch these Redlegs are turning out to be.
