Scary there for a second. Thought we were going to see a collision.

What did I say about Homer and a lead?
Just like Jay B. they both turn into Barney Fife under pressure.

Tony Bastard pitching for the Phillies.
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

First of all, Bailey cannot give up what he did in the 7th. He looked tired by the 2nd hitter and lost himself mechanically. Gave up a easy hit and the 2nd hit was blasted. A starting pitcher gets through there with ease. Either he needs some of Uncle Bond's cough medicine or move to the pen.

Secondly, Marshall doesn't matchup with the Phillies at all. Just because he is a lefty doesn't mean much. His curveballs don't work as well against righties and somebody else should have been brought in.

I'd prefer the 2010 version of Arthur Rhodes. Marshall has been a slight disappointment.

Again, with the negative. Miserably is not a word you can use for a first place team with the second best record in MLB.

Stubbs really needs to be traded before the rest of the league realizes what most Reds fans already know.
