That last pitch was a statement.
What if this wasn't a rhetorical question?

for one night anyway: SUCK IT PHILLIES
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Not sure about that. They had a shift on and Rolen was pretty far away from the bag. Not that it matters. Bwahahahaha!

    True. Just felt icky.
The Sox traded Bullfrog the only player they've got for Shottenhoffen. Four-eyes Shottenhoffen a utility infielder. They've got a whole team of utility infielders.

This was big for the Reds - to come back after a beating and get runs off Lee and then get more when they needed it after losing the lead. Got to give them confidence for tomorrow and Thursday!

This is the kind of baseball the Reds have to play. Now, there are no doubts that this team can compete with the best of them come October.

Take that, Phillies. And if you're not down with that, I got two words for ya.
"No matter how good you are, you're going to lose one-third of your games. No matter how bad you are you're going to win one-third of your games. It's the other third that makes the difference." ~Tommy Lasorda
