Fabulous win. Halladay and Lee BTB on the road and the Cards can only gain a 1/2 game and the best the Pirates can do is breakeven.

Burnett not pitching well tonight. 2-1 SD and the Friars have 1st and 3rd with one out.

Well my prediction that Juan Pierre would hit a game winning inside the park homer that bounced off Heisey's head was wrong.

Wow, that was one of the most awesome games of the year.. emotional rollercoaster. I'm glad the Reds pulled it out
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

My favorite win of the season so far. The whole game had that playoff vibe to it and it was tough every step of the way. Amazing job by the Reds.

What a huge win that was. I was fearing a 4-game sweep in Philly. If the Reds can find a way to win one of the final two I'll be thrilled.

It did have the feel of a sweep, especially after the Phillies tied it a second time. Actually, when it was 3-3 with runners at second and third, I was feeling like the game was toast. But Marshall got out of it and the Reds wound up winning.

There is something about that team that just is kryptonite to the Reds. Maybe this game last night will be a reversal of fortune. With Arroyo and Cueto going the next two nights, the Reds are in much better shape than they were before.
