Ludwick singles to right. Stubbs scores!

    2-0 Reds
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Reds have figured out that Brown in right has a great arm, but slow on his feet. For an athletic looking guy, he sure can't run very well.

I don't mind it. Mainly because when they say it, it usually means that we just scored.

I thought he was lollygagging on the diving catch on Bronson's well hit ball...guess not.

Very, very, very early, as in first inning early, the Astros lead St. Louis 1-0.

Padres still up 4-1 on Pittsburgh through 6

WOW! Astros score in the top of the 1st, 1-0. Pirates trail 4-1.

I don't expect the Astros to win that game, but it would be mighty nice if they did.
