Frazier flies out to right, Brown makes up for his error by gunning down Bruce at the plate to end the inning.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

That was a cannon to get Bruce. No bounce right on the money. Wow.

It looks like he may have already lost a step or two.

Billy Hamilton would have been out on that throw.

Note to Reds: Next time, hit it to Juan Pierre.

That must have been what the Phillies were waiting on with Brown, because he sure has yet to show anything with the bat.

Don't dig the short fly out to right on a 3-0 swing.

Unless you can square that thing up.....take the pitch.

Exactly. Nothing about that throw should comment on the runners' speed.

And his defensive out in right is very poor. Looks like he is running in quicksand.
