I thought Valdez beat that one out. Oh well, Hanigan leads off next inning which isn't bad in a close game.

People will get their Hanigan-to-leadoff wish

Last three games at Philly have provided their share of tension. Game two was unbearable. Yesterday, a bit less so for me.

    Tonight, we'll see.

Marshall pitching to Howard. Three lefties due but could be changes by Manuel.

Howard just misses a double down the line, foul.

Bull. That was a strike for Hamels earlier.

I feel like that 0-2 pitch by Marshall was called a strike for the Phils earlier.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Doesn't matter though, Marshall K's Howard.

Howard fans. Marshall and Chapman against lefties are just unreal.

    Brown singles past Valdez.

Masset would come in handy on those nights where you don't wanna use Chapman. Then Marshall could close instead of Broxton.

Now Dusty will switch off to a righty to face Mayberry the pinch hitter. Lecure.
