5 innings....really needs to work on his pitch counts. His only weakness. Hopefully this will come in time.

Nope. But Adam Dunn would have tracked it down.

Now is an opportunity for some of these bullpen guys to prove their worth.

I don't love this bullpen except for Chapman and, to a lesser extent, Marshall.

Jose has good numbers but too many walks and lately homers.

Let's see him come through here and hold the Phils to one run.

Then let's see the other relievers help Johnny out.

It really hasn't been much of an issue this season IMO. This was a rare outing for Cueto. He lost his location for the 2nd & 3rd innings and that's what cost him.

That rain and the resulting dampness could've been factoring heavily as well.

Would it ever make sense, if this was say a playoff game, to bring Chapman in here? I assume the answer is yes.

you know, your right...I'm thinking of the head case we sent to the Padres...he has pitch count issues.

Maybe the Reds are trying to get to Hamels lineup position with runners in scoring position, so the Phillies pinch hit for him?

    I doubt it.

Yes, but Chappy has pitched in five of six so I wouldn't do it tonight.

It certainly used to be a major problem for Cueto. But not this season (and most of last season).
