Ordinarily would agree, except the Phils have about 58 lefties in the lineup tonight. So I expect mostly Arredondo and Marshall.

If it gets to the ninth, Brox or Chappy.

Maybe Hoover if they need someone to strike out a righty hitter or if extras.

    Bruce K's

3-2 Redlegs to the bottom of 7
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Nah, I think he hit one on the homestand to RF. At least it was more recent than Houston.

This game could come down to the ninth inning without Chapman. Need an insurance run or two.

If we win tonight, the cards would have swept the astros and only picked up 1/2 game on their off day monday. That's a hard pill to swallow..

Pierre now up. Marshall warming. If it gets to Utley we'll see Sean.

Jose's fastball has some snap tonight. Sometimes he's all splitters. Tonight he's using the fastball. 1-2 on Juan P.

    August is national sandwich month.

Valdez with a Phillips like play, two out.

Stubbs last HR was August 5th against the Pirates. That is his only HR this month so far....

Kevin Frandsen is up. Has had a good series.

Lots of talk on telecast about cheesteaks and national sandwich month.

    Kevin fouling various pitches off.

Full count. Good at bat by Kevin.

    Walk. High pitch not close.

    Dark Helmet at it again.
The Sox traded Bullfrog the only player they've got for Shottenhoffen. Four-eyes Shottenhoffen a utility infielder. They've got a whole team of utility infielders.
