It's this kind of tension that makes baseball great - doesn't matter which team it is, I enjoy the heck out of it!

Reds should have used Hoover or Broxton early.
You had to know there was no way, right or wrong, Dusty was going to throw Hoover in that situation his first game up.

This is on Dusty. There's no excuse for not hitting for Cueto in the 7th. He was at 97 pitches and the Reds had runners at the corners with two outs. Dusty seems more interested in getting his players individual awards than winning games.

    That's grasping. Big time.

Cueto hit in the 6th. He was cruzing...he has to pitch 6 innings.

I must miss the losses that aren't on Dusty..

Unless BP and/or Rolen are injured, they should be in there for defensive purposes, and Frazier should take over at 1B. NO excuse for that not happening.

We'd be 145-0 if not for that idiot Dusty.

I'd say a good excuse would be to make sure everyone is fresh in October, which is what we all want I think.

The only costly defense this inning is arguably Ludwick's throwing.

Lecure needs some rehab DL-rehab time.

    He has nothing.
