    Wigginton K's

    3-3 after 8.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Another reason to dislike Phillie fans: the wave

Seriously, they've done the wave EVERY game.

Phils will use their closer. Reds will use Broxton. Hope it works out.

Unfortunately, Reds fans have no room to talk on that subject.

That was lucky. Wigginton bailed Lecure out. But I'll take it.

Chapman might have to pitch tonight if we go to extras and get the lead at some point. Simon will be our long man if it goes to the 10th and beyond.

The way this game has been handled, I don't think so. If it goes to extras I think it's Hoover and Simon. Ultimately, if necessary, Aaron Harang.

I'll never understand sitting two regulars in the same game in a big series.

Maybe Cozart will recreate some 9th inning magic off Papelbon.
