Pirates have tied the Brewmen at 2 each in the fourth.
Why pull Lynn so early other than he was getting killed? He only was pitching in the third and only gave up 3 runs.
Cards have got to be pretty desperate to.....at a minimum win the series.
I think it shows how big this series is for the Cardinals. Even as bad as Lynn looked normally they would not pull a starter that early.
One reason is they have a good replacement in Kelly who has started games.
