Latos hesitating forced the next 6 runners to reach?

They still hit it where it was pitched.

So true. He's not exactly a "table-setter" when it comes to patience when patience is what a team needs. The best way to rally from the type of half-inning they just had is a quality at-bat that leads to a walk. To Stubbs' credit, he did walk and score a run earlier tonight....something that has been rare for him while under the tutelage of Dusty Baker, but so very common when he was in the Minors.

If Marshall, Lecure and Latos had done their job within the last 24 hours, we'd be on the verge of 4 in a row and this thing would be all but over.

OK, time to reboot and get back to grinding.

Regardless of how this game turns out.....I'm worried about the wear and year on Hanigan the next 35 games. Will Dusty trust his pitchers enough to give Hanny a rest? He's never been a full-timer and now it's the dog days and he's catching nearly every day and taking a lot of beating....we gotta have him back there and this concerns me more than anything right now.

Dusty has always taken very good care of his Catchers. He gets credit for that.

No one who is even slightly rational possibly believes we're coming back to win this game.

Do you do your job perfectly every day???? I doubt it. Those 3 have performed very well all year.
