    Salas in to pitch.

    Cairo flies out to center.

"Man, the pitch looks fast, even in slow motion." Thom Brennaman on Chapman's fastball.

Well that sucked. We're bad again.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

No doubt. A guy named Skip wearing us out. Matt Carpenter fills in for the guy we dinged (unintentionally of course), even throws like a girl from third, and has 12 hits in two games and his lame arm is never tested.

Keep Stubbs away from there. He'd probably hit 40 dingers, 35 triples, and steal 75 bases on his way to Regular Season, NLCS, and World Series MVP. I demand an investigation
