Mes hit third tonight for Louisville, going 1-3 with a 2B. He made no apparent difference overall, as the Bats succumbed 5-1. Henry Rod had a couple hits. Ondrusek was uninspired.

P'cola is delayed after five, leading 3-1. Little Phillips put the Hoos in the lead with a 2-run HR. The all-time single-season base stealer is 1-2 with one of his specialties.
Obispo was sharp again, sans the strikeouts: 5 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 3 BB, 1 K.
Sean Buckley was 2-3 with a HR in Dayton's 4-3 win. Jacob Johnson, who seems to be returning to form after an extended rough patch, fanned 8 in 5 IP. Jimmy Moran threw three scoreless innings and Ryan Kemp got the save.
Division-leading Billings looks to be in a wild one, trailing 5-4 in the third. Sal Romano is on the unsmiling side of that scoreboard. Daniel Pigott's two hits include a HR. Winker is 1-1 with, duh, a walk.
Once again Logan Ondrusek does not do himself any favors. 1.2IP 2H 1ER 2BB 3K.
