Nice inning for Marshall. Three more outs (two maybe?) until Aroldis.

    Insurance run(s) time coming up.

He was fine, still learning the ropes but with a lot of potential. But the Cubs preferred to shell out massive gobs of money to guys like Jason Marquis and put them in the rotation and Marshall didn't have a spot.

I'm with Brutus on the call at first base. From one of the angles I saw, he looked out.

Man Bronson has been nails lately. Nice to see. That contract isn't quite the disaster after all I suppose.

Broxton warming. Think I'd rather have Hoover all things considered.

Thy apparently sat Hoover in the BP in favor of the worse Broxton.

Knew that was way too radical of an idea for Dusty to tackle right now.

Hoover was only warming in the event Marshall got in trouble in the 7th.

Shouldn't have been. Hoover has proven himself lately. I go to him over Broxton.
