Ball game . Nice way to start this road trip! Glad I stayed up for this. Normally when I stay up for a game out West, it leads to disaster.

Check swing ground out to Chapman. 24th straight converted save for Chapman a Reds team record. Reds win 3-2!! Magic number: 28

Reds win, still at a six game lead. Thank goodness for Bronson's HR.

Very big win. The team looks like its finally in need of Votto.

I would like to see Chapman's velocity broken down by days rest. I would guarantee that with a few days off, his velocity is lower than pitching on 0 days rest. It seems he's always stronger pitching a second day in a row.

Oh, and his pitching was OK as well.

He's 6-1 over his last seven starts.

Time's been up, pitching has been good enough to tread water. But honestly, could we have asked for any more? The injury was extended and they still are playing winning ball.

If he comes back and gets up to speed in a week or so, its like getting a late season trade.

Did anyone just see Jim Day's interview with Brandon Phillips? It was a classic.

Honestly, we can nitpick, but this has to be about as well as we possibly could have expected this team to be positioned right now. Wow.
