Arroyo is rubbing off on him... soon Chapman will have a 64mph curve...
Not this year...maybe a Wild Card

If you take away all of Chapman's strikeouts, he's only gotten outs by groundball and flyball. Odd.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

To me, this was a very important stretch. Four games in Philly, three at home against St. Louis, and then three at Arizona. A weird stretch, but we're now 5-4, with a chance to finish 6-4 tomorrow. Me like very much!

Reds once again have the best record in baseball. Unbelievable. I like once again.

The last time the Reds won a 1-0 game with a HR was 2004? Really?

Yup. in 1988 Jackson had 23 wins. Our last ERA leader was Ed Heusser? in 1944 with a 2.38. Go Johnny!
