Joey Votto got a couple of swings in with Dayton. In two ABs he struck out and walked. Yorman Rodriguez and Juan Silva went back-to-back. Silva also doubled as did Sean Buckley. Dragons lead 6-2 in the sixth. James Allen has pitched well for Dayton. 6IP 4H 2ER 0BB 5K.

If this is Tuesday then we must be in Taco Heaven, better known as Bakersfield. Stalin
Gerson will try to work out some more High A kinks tonight.

Billings hosts Helena tonight. It is Girls Night Out tonight and we all know Chicks dig the long ball. So both teams will do their best to oblige. Billings will send out Joel Bender (8.56) to face off against Preston Gainey (8.26).

Dayton played add-on in the seventh, scoring twice. Juan Perez with his second single on the evening, Juan Silva a single, mix in an error and there you go. Juan Silva is no a triple shy of the cycle. James Allen went seven fine innings. Sean Lucas on in the 8th.

Sean Lucas gives up an unearned run in the 8th and El'Hajj Muhammad pitches a scoreless ninth. Joey Votto is treating everyone to banana splits after the game. Dragons win 9-3. Three hits each for Silva and O'Shea. Two apiece for Diaz and Sierra. Pretty much everyone else had one.

He didn't need to hit a bomb to do that. Rumor has it they are weak in the knees just viewing his OBP.

A lot of Jesse Winker jerseys being sold tonight. He is 3 for 3 with two home runs. Carlos Sanchez left the park and reportedly wanted to stop at third. Joel Bender refused to enter into the spirit of the promotion. He allowed only one hit in five scoreless innings. Billings leads 6-2 going into the seventh.

Mustangs' bullpen gives up six runs in four innings of work but Billings scores a run in the bottom of the 8th to pull out a come from tied victory 7-6. An error, a single and a wild pitch produce the winning run. Winker and Sanchez drove in three apiece.

Bakersfield and Visalia tied at six apiece in a Cali League shootout that is hotter than the salsa on a free taco. Stalin Gerson gave up four home runs in four innings but is off the hook thanks to the Blaze batsmen. Bowe, Berset, D'Anna and Duran with two hits each. One of Berset's left the yard. Selsky is 1 for 2 and is hitting .347. Theo Bowe with 53 steals on the season. Devin Lohman pilfered number 31.

The Red Runtsmen are taking one on the chin. They trail 8-1 in the ninth. Luke Moran pitched 3 innings of one-hit scoreless ball. After that is was katy-bar-the-door. The
Rattlers have four hits. Singles by Peterson and Rachal, a double by Valor and a big fly by Estevez.
