It was the Stephen and Steve show late for Bakersfield. Stephen Hunt with a two-run jack in the 7th. Steve Selsky followed suit in the 8th. The bullpen hurled five innings of one-hit ball. The end result was a 10-6 Blaze win. Selsky had 3 hits on the night to push his average up to .352. Duran and D'Anna with three hits apiece as well.
Dominic D'Anna has gone a little Jekyll and Hyde on us over his last ten games. Five have been multi-hit affairs and five have been 0fers. That nets the following line: .361/.452/.472/.925.
The two home runs doubled his 2012 home run output and pushed his OPS all the way to .930. Jesse Winker looks like a lock to be in my Reds' Top 10 Prospect list. What a great year he has had.Originally Posted by texasdave
