I get the strategy, but man, I'd pitch to Wil Nieves anyday.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Get's the pitcher to ground out after the IW. 2-0 Dbacks after 4

    Latos now at 76 pitches.

He needs to play more if the alternative is Stubbs going out there everyday

A hit from somebody other than Latos by the Reds would be nice.

Heisey's a below average bat and a well below average glove. Fine backup, best off the bench, but too much of a knucklehead to play too often.

Cairo flys out to left on second pitch. Really making Corbin work today...

Navarro gives it one more pitch, but puts less behind it keeping it in the infield. 6 pitch inning.

I know he hasn't pitched great today but I feel bad for Latos. He deserves a better offense than this.

This is the same guy that earlier in the season had something like a 6 run lead he blew? What goes around comes around I suppose.
