    One At Bat

I think the Cubs should do it. Their season is over anyways and it would at least get them on Sportscenter for something other than the circus of errors they constantly have each game.

I would say that we should do it once we clinch since we are basically giving at bats away to Stubbs every 2 to 3 innings anyways.

Awesome story! Thanks for sharing, I signed the petition. I know there is a lot that wil make it difficult to ever happen, but man, how amazing would it be for him? Must be a lil dusty in my office, allergies or something, as my eyes are watering a lil bit.

    Interesting and tragic story.

I think the Cubs should do it. When a club like that is so far from competition what's the harm? It's like when the Bucaneers(? could be wrong) drafted that player that was paralyzed. It's great to see sports team honor players in simple gestures like this.

The Marlins said Thursday that they have signed Greenberg to a one-day contract, effective Oct. 2, and will play him that day against the New York Mets.
