BB/K rate is a decent measure of plate discipline. Walks compared to strikeouts. Higher number is better, more walks, fewer Ks. In considering Heisey's long-term role, keep these 2012 K/BB stats in mind:
Prince Fielder 1.00
J. Upton .50
Chris Heisey's September

Drew Stubbs is even more abhorrent.
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.
