That may be the first time I've seen a walk-off unearned run. Just an awful way to lose.

But does anyone else worry about Marshall pitching the eighth inning of a one-run game under playoff pressure? The guy just inspires no confidence.
    He's underwhelming.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Who wants to bet Valdez starts at third tomorrow? I'd say it's a 100% lock.

Who's having a worse night: Wilson Valdez or Michigan?

    Well we're bad again.

THe only concern I have for playoffs is exactly what happened here. Dusty didn't manage the bullpen well when he didn't bring in righty for the last out. The team also looked like they were each individually swinging for the fence starting around the 7th inning or so. For some reason, there was pressure in this game - maybe they were trying extra for Homer to get a W? Valdez? I feel sorry for him. Why we don't have a better back up is beyond me.

Really just a pitiful performance by everyone not named Bailey.

Masterful outing by Homer wasted. Marshall worries me a bit.

Marshall still got the job done he needed to. He induced a routine grounder. What more can you ask of him?

Marshall isn't a lefty specialist, so no need to treat him like one there.

I think Janish would've been a better back up infielder than Valdez

He did load the bases though.
