Fly out to Stubbs to end the inning. But Maxwell's solo shot ties it up....for now. I'm not even remotely worried. We'll win this one running away.

    Offense needs to wake up.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Agreed. But give Harrell a little credit. He's a pretty decent young rookie pitcher. But he's right around 80 pitches so we'll see the bullpen pretty soon.

Oh definitely props to Harrell. But at the end of the day, the Reds need to beat the Astros.

AJ Burnett with a no hitter going through four, but allowed a run. Tied at 1-1 Bucs and Brewers.

    Nice catch Rolen.

I hope you mean beat, cause we've been them all through the early 2000s and I don't wanna go back.
    Is it "next season" yet?

I may or may not have meant 'beat'.

Glad you caught it Gizmo, because I was just about to. :O) We definitely DON'T need to "be" the astros.

Is that some sort of new baseball zen thing? "Be the Astros"?
Sabermetrics is this: A batter's goal is to extend the inning. Extend enough innings and you're going to score runs. Extend more innings than your opponent and you're going to score more runs than him.

Forget the rain. It's never an official game until the Reds piss away a run between third base and home plate. - Bluegrass Redleg
