Tonight the camera angle is behind the pitcher and makes the view on balls and strikes so much clearer. Other telecasts now feature this pitch by pitch camera position, and it is so much better. You can not only see inside/outside much more clearly from home, but you also get a better view of movement on pitches.
Yet, the Reds telecast has historically always used the off-center over the right shoulder center field camera, and it is frustrating. I wonder why the Reds choose this inferior position?
