We seem to have a habit of making new guys look really really good.
    Is it "next season" yet?

Hanigan's pretty strong but I don't think he could hit the catcher into the stands!

Not just the Reds do that - takes a few games for the scouting to get caught up on new pitchers. Lots of them have good first couple of outings before the hitters figure them out.

This is his second start, btw.

    You are right, my bad.

I dunno, I think we can still get to him. But I'm just disappointed in Johnny's apparent lack of concentration with 2 outs in the 5th.

    And there's another HR.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

You can't just throw the ball right down the middle to the pitcher and expect to get away with it. It seems like the Reds get burned quite a bit by opposing pitchers with the bat.

Thank God the Phillies aren't going to the playoffs, because they own the Reds.

Come on Offense...Cueto is trying to win 20 games this season. This guy is a RH version of Tom Browning. Let's go!

He doesn't look very focused after a pretty good start. Something got him out of his rhythm and zone.

So long as the lead doesn't get too big, they can come back against this kid.
