Paul Janish: all is forgiven. Please come home. I didn't realize it at the time, but it could get worse.

Not to pile on, but should a MLB player (even part timer) be on a MLB roster at this point batting under .200? Don't the Reds have two of them? Haven't checked recently but Valdez is and isn't Cairo?

    What is BP swinging at?
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

A 1-0 loss will be really hard to take.

The Reds do realize that, come October, they won't be facing the cubs, AAstros and dbacks, don't they?

Ugly, ugly offensive performance again tonight. Four straight days that they look a bit lost against a middling starter. Hopefully Votto gives them a shot in the arm, because the guy going tomorrow is not a middling starter.

You really think Dusty is gonna agree to release his favorites in September?

This team has been painful to watch lately.

their bats have gone to sleep.
For every action there is an equal and opposite criticism.

Not bashing Dusty at all. Putting these outs into the lineup is a crime though, especially with the expanded rosters.
