2b grounds out to 2b. 1-2-3 first for Latos. 12 pitches. Nice.
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

Valdez, flashing his power, grounds all the way out to short. Stubbs forced.

I would have had Valdez bunt.

Can't run if the hitter doesn't give you a chance. Fundamentals and baseball knowledge missing from many of our players.

When Valdez gets his pitch he has to let that bat rip.

Valdez out but stands on second. Frandsen with a nice bare-handed grab and fire to first. Two outs, Valdez on third.

It has been so long since Valdez reached second that he wasn't quite sure where it was located. That resulted in an overslide.

Ryan Howard was 0-8 lifetime against Latos, with 8 Ks. Oops. He lines a single to right.

Wilson Valdez is OPSing .446. That number would rank him 31st in the NL in Slugging. Yikes.
