Off that list I would think Arrendondo, Bailey, LeCure and Ondrusek are locks. I'd take Simon or Hoover over Leake.

If it's up to me Hoover definitely makes it.

Dusty use of his top 3 relievers in 2002 World Series.....

    6 of 7 games
    5 of 7 games
    5 of 7 games

They don't play everyday and they'll be rested.....take your 4 starters and top 3 relievers and there is still spots for Simon, Arrendondo, Leake and whoever.....those guys can pitch when we suck....but Leake is a better PR than everyone but Heisey and maybe Paul. Leake's OPS for the season is near .700

Plus Dusty will take 12.....he'd be getting a major screw over IMO.

In his last 10 starts, including today, Mike Leake's ERA is either 6.18 or 6.34 depending upon whether the runner at second scores or not.

Phillies have outscored the Reds 30-19 so far in this series for being tied at 3 games

I don't think I'd want to see Leake take the mound at any point in the playoffs. There are better pitchers that we should take over him.

I'd rather take my best pitchers. Leake is not going to pinch-hit and pinch-runner is irrelevant.

Funny I was just having a discussion with one of my friends last night about Mike Trout and he was shocked that he went 25th in the draft that year. The way the discussion ended up was.

"Wow, so the Reds could have had him?"

    "Yeah"

"Who did they take that year?"

    "Mike Leake"

Rough inning for the home plate ump. A 3-ball walk. A batter was hit by the pitch and nothing.

I know rage is gonna be upset but Bailey has to be the 4th starter by default

Leake in his start at SF.....9 inn and 1 run

At LA....7 inn and 2 run

Who was the only pitcher recently worth a crap versus the Cards...at home? Leake 6 2/3 with 2 ER and the win....his other start against the Cards....6 inn and 2 ER.

    Matchups are important.....

Dusty would have him behind Stubbs...
