    Reds vs. Astros Friday 9/7

At what point do we wonder about Cozart's health?

    Phillips 2B
    Heisey CF
    Votto 1B
    Ludwick LF
    Bruce RF
    Frazier 3B
    Navarro C
    Valdez SS
    Bailey P

In the finale of the Phillies' series their broadcaster stated that Cozart was battling a bad back. That is the only mention that I have heard of regarding Cozart's health, or lack thereof. Did I sound like Marty there?

Cozart sidelined by sore back: MLB.com reports Reds shortstop Zack Cozart was held out of the starting lineup for a second straight game Wednesday against the Phillies because of a sore back, according to manager Dusty Baker. Didi Gregorious replaced Cozart in the starting lineup Wednesday.

If Cozy isn't 95+%....let his rest and recover/strengthen.....as long as he can be back at full strength with 7 or 8 games to go I'll be happy.

This is why a cushion is nice.

I like 1-7.....Luddy and Frazier aren't killing it right now and Bruce should be 4th....but I know the rules.

We'll prolly score 1 run over about 11 innings tonight.

Staistically, this is probably the best line-up the Reds have had all year.

    1. Phillips - .294
    2. Heisey - .289
    3. Votto - .346
    4. Ludwick - .276
    5. Bruce - .265
    6. Frazier - .289
    7. Navarro - .296
    8. Valdez - .196 (kind of drops the average a bit)

For a while the Reds were only playing 1 or 2 players whose averages were over .250 each night. Bruce was under for awhile as well as Ludwick. Frazier has brought his average up a lot, but I think he was around .250 for a while.

Even with Valdez, I can't think of a night when the Reds had an a team batting average this high on the field.

Again, it will probably be an 11 inning 1 run game - but at least the line-up looks pretty.

According to Fay Rolen is also having some back issues, and Stubbs is getting some time off to try and figure things out.

I like that -- my mind went towards -- how can he get all of his things in that mover's box -- but your line of thought is prolly better for the team right now

Stubbs is furthering Einstein's work. Baseball is but a trivial matter at this point. Time travel, is it possible? What really happens when you die? What created the universe? All these will be answered.
