What's been uglier today? Cueto or the offense?

    Cueto.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I think Mickey Storey missed a memo.

Alert the presses: Stubbs doesn't strike out.

Stubbs should spend a game just taking every pitch. Just concentrate on pitch recognition.

What's the record for strikeouts in a game? We've got 22 between the 2 teams and Stubbs is up.

    Whoa! Stubbs walked.

I'm thinking that Cueto needs to skip a start - he has not looked sharp at all the last few starts.

Both....I mean this Astros team is 1962 Mets bad....but I also recall the 1962 Reds could not beat them every game either. One game I read where Fred H basically had someone clear the locker room and the players were scared enough NOT to question it.

B team would have included Valdez and Cozart and Rolen are hurt. It's more on the fact that Stubbs is still terrible and Frazier needs a day or 2.

Yeah other than Gregorious and Paul, not sure this lineup is any different than what we'll see in the post season. They haven't been hitting or scoring runs for at least 2 weeks now, hope that changes in another few weeks, or they're going nowhere fast once the season ends...again.
