It wasn't aesthetically pleasing but I thought it was entertaining. And any win is a good win.
I just went back and re-watched the Phillips incident. Couldn't see much. It was odd that the pitcher threw over with Phillips just standing on the bag. But wasn't it also odd that play had resumed, the pitcher had come set and Phillips WAS just standing on the bag. Shouldn't he have been taking a lead?
Kudos to all the Reds Zoners who stayed up for the entire game.
