Re: Howling fans at last night's game

It was funny in the 14 inning game where it started, and later when they were in Wrigley, but it's getting old. The "wooos" are starting in the 3rd-4th inning now.

The only time I think it should be used is simultaneously as the pitch is delivered to the opposing team in late innings.

I have to admit, I had to howl once at the beginning of game 5 just to say I did it.

I did not hear much of it in Game 5.

Was there much howling in Games 3 or 4?

I dont care for it personally. I mainly have to listen or watch games and it can get on a person's nerves. The game of baseball is entertaining enough to me without having to add something like that.
Have any of the Reds players ever made a statement on it as in like or dislike or doesnt matter ?

It is not unique - the pirates fanbase did it before cinci. It is terrible.

I posted this in the other forum also:

Someone had this sign on the "Reds LIVE" pre-game show coming back from a commercial break on TV a few minutes ago. Sorry for the not so good picture.

I also noticed it on the Post Game Show.

Re: Howling fans at last night's game

I really wish they would start throwing these idiots out. Its pointless and it does nothing to add to the environment. I'd rather have the peanut guy sit beside me and yell all night. A very small percentage of people participate in this and enjoy it. They know its annoying and that's why they continue to do it. It annoys the players as well. So why would you continue to do something that's going to annoy your fellow fans and the team you're suppose to be cheering for? They need thrown out with no refund. Lets get a petition going or something. If you can get tossed for heckling you should be able to get tossed for this.
