Damn, could have had more. And we may need it if Leake continues to pitch the way he has been.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Leake needs to pitch 6-7 innings because of what the bullpen had to do last night.

Even if he gets pounded tonight, he might have to take his medicine. With our big lead in the division bullpen rest is more important tonight.
Not this year...maybe a Wild Card

Good to have an experienced closer like Broxton with Chapman out. Also glad that Brox seems to have gained back velocity since he's been with the Reds.

    Nice pickup by Jocketty.

But at least he made Correia throw 1 pitch. Lol.

He should have bunted to set things up for Leake or Phillips.

I would have had Valdez bunt Navarro to second for Leake.
