Just gotta hope we can eke a few out and win the pitching matchups in the playoffs.
This is who we are. We knew early in the season we had problems offensively and nothing was done to improve it. The hot streak we had was just that....a hot streak. Now it seems everyone has come back down to earth and we can't buy runs. Our pitching has given us the big lead we have...it surely hasn't been the offense.

This has been a trend for the Reds as long as I can remember. I still get cold-sweat flashbacks to Jeff Pico of the Cubs, and that was 25 freakin' years ago.

Maybe it's like this for other teams, too. Sometimes it's hard to face a guy you don't have the "book" on.

Stubbs may yet make it to the Mendoza line by the end of the season

Kid's having trouble throwing strikes and the Reds are acting like they need to get back to hotel, swinging on 2-0 and 3-1 counts.

Apparently too much to hope Phillips could actually take on a 1-0 count.

Simon has been tough all year.

Really should be used in closer games, IMO.

He's got to be on the post-season roster.

I guess if they wanna go into an offensive slump you may as well do it now before the playoffs start.

This team's hitting is beyond pathetic! Welsh thinks every fly ball hit by a Red would be long gone if it was hit at GABP, or if hit at GABP it's too cold to go out on this night. Welsh, STFU!

You're not gonna score many runs with a 6-man batting order and three automatic outs. Dusty's doing this to himself by effectively using 3 pitchers in his lineup.
